The Mite Instructional League is an introductory house program for players of local towns and organizations playing out of the Graf Rink in Newburyport. This is the next progression after players complete the learn to skate/play hockey program.

Overview:

• 3v3 cross ice games designed for players just starting their hockey career.
• Games against local towns such as Newburyport, Agawam, and Haverhill/Pentucket.
• For players ages 5-8 who have basic skating skills of turning and stopping. 
• Full hockey equipment required.
• Game jerseys/socks included with tuition.
• 1-2 practices per week at the Graf Rink.
• 20-22 cross ice games at the Graf Rink, Saturday evenings between 4-6 pm.
• The cost of this program is $975. Initial deposit required with monthly payments between June 1st and September 1st.

The Fall Midget program consists of a half season league beginning in September and running through November to prepare the kids for High School Hockey.  

Teams will play 11 regular season games plus playoffs in the Valley Hockey League and have at least one practice per week.  

The cost of this program is +/- $600 based on the number of players registered. The initial registration is free and offers will be extended after the registration period has closed.  

Tryouts will be scheduled as needed based on the number of players registered. 

Jerseys are included.
